- Be sure to sweep off any fertilizer that gets on your concrete. Fertilizers contain iron which will cause rust stains if left to get wet.
- De-icing products and rock salt will cause severe damage to the surface of your concrete. Try plain kitty litter or sand for better traction in winter.
- Occasional re-application of a concrete sealer is recommended especially for outdoor concrete. The sealer will add luster, maintain color, and help prevent stains and scratches.
- All concrete should be pre-cleaned and completely dry before applying a new coat of sealer.
- Cracks in your concrete are normal. If any cracks open up they should be caulked using a urethane product. For best results we recommend hiring a concrete professional.
